Heavy copper is defined as thickness of copper exceeding 3 ounces or 0.0042” in a single layer. It is usually designed in order to increase current-carrying capacity as well as to provide better protection from high temperatures and constant temperature changes.
Our highest capability for heavy copper is 6 ounces for both outer layer and inner layer. By using excellent equipment and technology, we can ensure the best quality in PCB lamination, copper plating, as well as exact trace width by etching precisely. This allows us to meet your highest expectations regarding high performance of heavy copper PCB’s, making it more durable when high voltage electricity and heat are flowing through the circuit.
